Hey everyone,

I'm participating in a four-player 15pt 'capture the hill' game in a couple of weeks, just a bit of fun, and thought I'd put my list up here:

Commander Stryker
-Ol' Rowdy
-Charger
-Squire
6 Long Gunners
Total: 21pts

I know your going for a 15pt army, but seeing that your a little high ya might as well get a Journeyman Warcaster and throw him in there to get ya 1 point shy of 25 points seeing that your nearly there anyway! Your charger will love you for it!

Striker is +6 so hes not over at all.

That being said long gunners are garbage especially in a situation that requires you to be up close and personal. I would do something like this:

Stryker *6
*Ol' Rowdy 9
*Lancer 6
*Squire 2
Min Sword Knights 4

Stryker likes having an archnode to cast earthquake around. Sword knights work great because they are cheap and with 2 jacks can do a good amount of damage at low points.

DukeRustfield - There's nothing wrong with beer and pretzels. I'm pretty sure they are the most important members of the food group.

Yeah, normally twinning the Charger with a Journeyman is a must in my force, but given how this game is almost inevitably going to end with a desperate mess of combats in the centre to try and control, I thought I'd save the 3pts for something else =)

Sounds good. I was also considering StormBlades, which I've never used much before - do you think they'd work in place of the Sword Knights? Otherwise, might just go with them - the defensive line is always good, and as it's entirely likely all of our models will end up close, they'll get the Flank bonuses.

Instead of running Swordknights you could use that 4 points for the Black 13th, or if you wanted to be more Jack Heavy run Two Ironclads and a Lancer with Reinholdt or Stormsmiths eating that last point.

If I was running 15 this is what I'd try out

Stryker -6
-Ironclad +7
-Lancer +6
-Sentinel +4
-Squire +2

Captain Arlan Strangewayes +2

The Sentinel will give you an effective way to chew up some Units, and in a pinch can guard Styker or Arlan, and Arlan will free up Stryker's focus to Earthquake with, and can repair to keep your jack's on the field.
