Hi everyone
I've managed to persuade Darren to allow me to run a free one night tournament on Friday 30th September at the northwest gaming centre. It is 7pm while 10pm and 3 games

The rules are:
600pts max
Special Characters are allowed
You must have the standard 1 HQ and two troops.
You can have up to 1 Fast Attack OR Heavy Support
You can have up to 1 Elites
You can have an extra HQ (Space Wolves are still only allowed two)
You can have up to an extra 4 Troops
There is no model repping, conversions are allowed so long as you let your opponent know
Models dont have to painted.
Armies are to be selected from in print codexes (Sisters of battle are allowed)
The Scenarios:
GAME 1: Dawn of War + Capture and Control
GAME 2:Seize Ground + Spearhead
GAME 3: Annihilation + Pitched Battle
Scoring System
Win 3/ Draw 1/ Loss 0
Rough Timetable
6:30 - 7:15 Registration
7:20-8:05 Game 1
8:15 - 9:00 Game 2
9:10 - Game 3

Good luck with your tournament. Yesterday I completed a 500 point combat patrol tournament I done at my local GW store.
Small point games are fun to do and everybody had a great time in playing.

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

Funny thing is that I wouldn't have minded facing your list, in fact, I wouldn't have minded facing any list other than the three I did face, and even then I wouldn't have minded facing Matt's Nids or Sean's SM in KPs, or Stu's CSM in either of the objectives games.

Devastating Dark Reaper
|
Capture and Control + Dawn of War makes for a very difficult game at such low point levels. The person with 1st turn can place practically the whole army 24" up while the opponent may have to come on the board edge and walk the whole way.
