So I saw Forgeworld had Chaos Dwarves coming out. I remember the old ones but I never actually played WHFB, just collected the models. I see that Forgeworld has rules but I have no idea what they mean. I was looking into getting a WHFB (more than just collecting) and I like the new Chaos Dwarves, but can some one tell me how playable they are? I have no idea what the stats and rules for the dwarves mean and I don't know if they're any good.

Thanks!

Yeah, they are worth a try. They're fairly tough, and they have access to some pretty nasty weaponry.

Sounds good. I see they are a part of the Warriors of Chaos right now until their book is out. Was there ever a release date for it?

There are several lists:
1.) Old Ravening Hordes List originating 94 or so with updates, only official list currently, updated to 8th edition by fans.
2.) Upcoming Warhammer Forge list by Forge World in the book Tamurkhan: Only a few things known, so can't comment on that. But it is a Forge World list, not a GW army book, so might be less official.
3.) Fan-made, GTI official Chaos Dwarf list which is competitive and fun.

Probably something they wouldnt allow in tournaments, but sounds pretty cool. Post some pics when you get the models painted up!
