Not quite sure where to pick up conversions other than the advertized ones on this site and othher games like malifaux, hordes, war machine, ect. Do bear in mind however, that any models you field do have to be 75% GW otherwise they are not legal models.

n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

I've always been told 75.....
Aaannnyyy way. For friendly games try malifaux models. They wont be tourney legal but they definatly look beter (however they are all metal so the price tag is a bit high) than gw. The female models are especially good. Look up lady justice when you get a free minute and tell me she isint awsome.

The problem is a factor of scaling. GW minis are 28mm, but "heroic" 28mm, so everything is bigger than it really should be. Most of the historical options out there in 28mm are not in the "heroic" 28mm scale so bodies, heads and weapons will all look too small. On the other end you have the Malifaux minis that others have mentioned, but Malifaux is actually 32mm scale, not 28mm scale, so are bigger than they need to be for conversions.
Not really sure what to tell you to use....:\

To answer the question a little more fully, I would direct you to the news and rumors section. There are threads on:
Chapterhouse
Maxmini
Bitspudlo
Zinge Industries
Paulson Games
Kromlech
And those are just on the first page. They all have various conversion options for 40k minis.
Then, you can check out West Wind Metals for their separate head system (ww2 style, gasmasks, etc), and some other historicals campanies that make heroic 28mm models.
Hope that helps.
