It means that you can have a certain number of models in the squad, in this case minimum being three and a maximum of 10 models

Yes 3-10 means minimum of 3, maximum of 10. Problem with a 3 man squad, though, is that you take morale tests as soon as you take any losses. So you could lose 1 terminator and then the squad runs and never comes back. 5 is a better number. Then you need to lose 2 before you start taking leadership tests...

Unless you go for good old chaos termi-cide  Shoot the big thing, then die. It's amazing how much attention people will pay to a 3 man squad of termies after they've used their combi meltas.
