After working along time on my Crimson Fists, I have decided to build a good list out of my Nurgle which has been sitting on my shelf for awhile.

In my list I put 3 termicide units, all of them 3 man. 2 of them are the standard 3 combimeltas, with 1 chainfist. My 3rd unit is a 3 man unit with lightning claws (all 3 are champs for an extra attack).
My question is do you think that this unit would be effective? I have used Lightning claw guys before, and I fell in love with them, my concern is weather a 3 man unit would be enough to take out a unit effectively? I was thinking sending them after smaller elite squads, like sternguard and such. Would I be better off with just another combimelta squad, or have 1 combimelta squad, and make a bigger LC squad?

I miss the good old days when a man would build a skyscraper with his bare hands just so you would stop hitting him with a shovel.

3 dual lightning claws or single? Dual works pretty nice in general, but if you're speaking of termicide you're going to deep strike them, right? And that is kinda annoying since they'll be sitting ducks for a turn. If it's only single claw they will only be dealing 6 twin linked bolter shots in the turn they deep strike in, which is more or less nothing. Also they'll be a target (somehow terminators always get considered a major threat, regardless of their equip) and most likely not be three models anymore in the turn they can finally assault.

So my opinion is: LC on termicide is a waste of points. On an assault unit in a Land Raider the LC are devastating (though very expensive).

The eye of terror.

Without furious charge, lightning claw terminators are pretty marginal.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?
