I'm proud to announce the launch of a new Warmachine & Hordes Epic Conflict!
That poster is clickable, btw
Chris Cuevas and I have been working on this for the last couple months, and we're finally ready to unleash it upon the world! Right now we're planning for 32 participants. It will be 3 solid days of gaming, and the hotel room price is killer.
If you're wondering what to expect in the way of tables and prizes, we're making every effort to put out spectacular gaming environments (if you've attended the SITE, you've already seen a lot of it), and the trophies will be custom made for the event. And with multiple tournaments running over the weekend, there will be ample chances to get to the podium.
There is no other event like this in the Southeast, so please click through the banner above for all the info that's currently available, and pencil in your calender for Feb 10-12 next year!
Thanks,
Craig Russell

This sounds like fun... I may try to attend if Privateer Press starts producing miniatures again...

This sounds like a great event. I am letting my friends who play WM/H in Miami know about this.

Don't let that stop you!
You never know. Five months could change a lot. . .

That would be a huge assist! I've been hunting for an 'in' down there, but common forums seem sparse (other than this one ).
BTW, I've seen those awesome Ret models of yours. Are you going to sign up?

This is excellent. I don't play WM/H but I'd love to attend. Will there be non-playing admission?

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary." |

I painted those for some of my friends in Miami. I sent my friend the website info to him.

I'm building my Skorne up - I've just been waiting for the Armadillo to get more skorne stuff. By the way I've seen your Cryx stuff and its looking good! I'm going start getting back in the game now that I bought a Nihilator unit. My issue was that I just could not get the infantry to make my army. I'm experimenting with the Dominar, Xerxes, and Zaal. I figure I can come up with a decent list for them

Ya Mon! Only 10 spots left as of this morning. The Florida response has been fantastic!

I've been trying to find a Miami contact! It would be very cool to get more of South FL in the mix.

Our first 32 spots booked up in less than 2 weeks, so we're expanding to 50 participants!
Visit http://crucible-orl.blogspot.com to sign up for what promises to be an epic event.
Here are a few more updates as well:
[*]We're on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crucible/178910952175928. Come on by and Like us!
[*]Boards and scenery are going to be top-notch. Thanks in large part to Tom Keegan and John Petrelli (who run the SITE GT for LotR) and John Vega of Amorous Armadillo, we'll have Realm of Battle or custom made boards at every table and quality scenery as well. No green sheets, no patches of felt for forests and ponds, no paper buildings - just excellent and visually exciting environments to play in.
[*]Trophies will all be custom made and unique to the Crucible, and there will be trophies given out for every tournament.
[*]Painting is not required, but we will be giving out hobby awards, so if you like it then put some paint on it!
[*]First Place in the Masters will earn the winner a 35 pt. army of your choice, pro-painted and based to your specifications

It looks like the results from the tournament are in: http://crucible-orl.blogspot.com/
The winner of the Crucible was a Minion force.
The pictures of the event showed fantastic terrain, the painted armies were amazing, and it looks like it was just an awesome event overall. I will definitely be attending next year
