So I really want to make a list featuring 30 Harlequins. I think it could work. But is there anything else that could help in a list like this?

This is a basic 1500 point list I've come up with, and I'm looking for ways to expand on it. Naturally Shurkien cannon on jetbikes, but possibly embolden jetlocks with spears and war walkers.

Eldard
Seer Council, 6 Warlocks, 1 Embolden and Spear, 1 Enhance and Spear, 3 Destructors

10 Harlequins, Troupe Master w/ Fusion pistol and Power weapon, Shadowseer w/ Fusion Pistol and Harlequin Kiss, 6 Harlequin Kisses

10 Harlequins, Troupe Master w/ Fusion pistol and Power weapon, Shadowseer w/ Fusion Pistol and Harlequin Kiss, 4 Harlequin Kisses

10 Harlequins, Troupe Master w/ Fusion pistol and Power weapon, Shadowseer w/ Fusion Pistol and Harlequin Kiss, 4 Harlequin Kisses

3 Guardian Jetbikes
3 Guardian Jetbikes
3 Guardian Jetbikes
3 Guardian Jetbikes

Thoughts?

It would look really cool, but against half decent armies?
Won't play all that well i don't think, which is a huge shame because armies like this should do well because they would look cool.

All you can really hope for, is that your opponent isn't using many tanks, and gives you the chance to get close. Even with run moves, you will find it hard to get the Harelquins close enough quick enough...

One weakness is the jet bikes will taken out real quick and then you'll have no way to capture objectives. other than that it looks like a fun list.

just conjecturing, but you might have better luck with the DE codex. An entire list built around footslogging close combat units would benefit immensely from Web Way Portals.

If you are heart set on doing this with Eldar, I recon you should requisition some transports for those Harlies.

Guardian Defender Squads with Scatter Lasers can take a dedicated Serpent transport, and they can work* on foot. Hell they are at least as good as pathfinders, since they can still go to ground for a 3+ cover save, and they have 10 bodies, and possibly embolden for leadership.

That way your Harlies can pile into the Wave Serpents on turn one, and actually ZOOM at the enemy instead of pitter patter.

*by varying definitions of work...

If you're taking Harlies, max out their kisses.

Speed is definintly a problem. I'll just have to spread out and take use of that 24 inches. I think that there are enough harlequins that I should be able to get into assualt.

If the enemy is shooting at the jetbikes and not the harlequins, they are doing something wrong. And plus I would always have them staying in the back turboboosting.

Transports are expensive, and limit the effectiveness of the shadowseer. The idea originally ran through my mind, but I need that pysker support, besides the flip belt's are better in the Eldar Codex. Is this is a suggestion on how to expand the list? That could work*.

I didn't have the points, and this way, I'm not wasting any if a few of them die on the way there. Although I would want more if I had points to spare.

I think 1500pt list with lots of harlequins really wont work well so id advise stretching it in to 2000pts
and giving them vehicles so i went onto armybuilder and made a list up for you hope it helps

farseer - 444
5 warlocks
wave serpent
scatter laser

6 harlequins - 162
shadowseer
all kisses

6 harlequins - 162
shadowseer
all kisses

6 harlequins - 162
shadowseer
all kisses

10 dire avengers 267
exarch
bladestorm + 2 ASC
wave serpent
scatter laser

10 dire avengers 267
exarch
bladestorm + 2 ASC
wave serpent
scatter laser

Falcon 180
BL
Holo-fields

Falcon 180
BL
Holo-fields

Falcon 180
BL
Holo-fields

basically put the harlies into the falcons and then storm over to enemies table side and annihilate him and rest of army follow.

if you eliminate a warlock and exchange BL for scatter laser then you can get vectored engines on the falcons which would make them more survivable.

hope this list helps
