As promised in the last post... Mordrak. All in all a pretty easy conversion just using the termy chaplain body and sticking some GK arms on him. The deamonhammer was made back in 2009 when I was starting the army and there were no special rules for them. I was reading the GK novels at the time and it was talking about there being other NFWs so I decided to do that to give some variation. I made 5 of these scattered throughout the army by chopping the head off of a PA TH and sticking it onto the pole of a NFW. anyways... pics.
And here he is with the boys.
Next up, I am trying to decide between a ten pack of termies or three dread knights.

He looks pretty cool (when does the termi chaplain NOT look cool?), and I dig the conversion, that hammer looks pretty badass, but he just doesn't give me a Grey Knight feeling, nor a Mordrak feeling.
And go with the terminator boxes. Dreadknights are horrifically ugly and not all that good on the table either, while the plastic GK terminator box is one of the best looking sets GW's ever released. Although I may be biased, what with having a massive hard on for Grey Knight Terminators.

I have to agree with Fafnir. Very cool looking, but it doesn't scream "I am Grey Knight Grand Master Mordrak, check out my ghost friends"

Agree too. He gives me more of an Inquisitorial feeling (can Inq:s have terminator armour now?) than a Mordrakky one.

Cool... cool... I get where you are coming from on the lack of GK bling. They really could have been helped out with one more box that was a termie body that could be used for GM, librarians, and maybe just contain extra bits of bling. On thin I really think this guy lacks in I know he doesnt carry a copy of their deamon book with him.
Only the Ordo Maleous inquisitors can get termie armour now. I might bump him to that down the line but for now he is Mordrak for me.
As a brief programming note... all my termies are metal. I have been suplementing them with bits from the new plastics, but...I don't have any of the new plastics yet, but 30 of the older metals. Once again one of the down sides of collecting a rather large army a few years before the codex. Between a buddy selling off an army and a Bizarre Bazaar at my now closed local GW I managed to snap up 20 termies for less than half price. I do think about adding at least 10 more down the line, but that's gong to be a qhile.

I like this entire unit. When the Codex came out I wondered how people were going to make Mordrak's Ghosts but you have captured it perfectly.

Agreed. I've said it before, but those ghost termies are really good.
