Blessing of the Blood God gives Kharn the Betrayer immunity to the effects of psychic powers. Lash of Submission allows the caster to move the target unit. Now let's say I have my Kharn in a unit of Zerkers and the enemy targets that unit with Lash of Submission. Does he get to move the whole unit including Kharn? Or all models except Kharn? But this would mean he could isolate the model from the protection of the unit I put it in. What do you guys think?

He can not move the unit, as one model has a rule preventing Psychic powers from working on the unit.

After sitting back and thinking on it. retracting my previous can move the squad. The only way it works is Kharne Cannot be affected, and as he's attached to the squad even if you didn't move him he'd count as moving.
The squad is not protected though so things like JoTWW could target them perfectly fine

I dont know about that because characters dont NORMALLY give squads their special abilities example a fearless character does not give the fearless rule to their squad and also losses fearless while joined to the squad. With exceptions to thing like chaplains which state otherwise in their rules.

You're talking about a USR. Psychic Immunity is not a USR.
And you can't use the power to split him from his squad, so since the power cannot move him, it cannot move the squad.

Id agree with Rigeld. In my circle at least i we say that Lash cannot move Kharn and his squad. Mainly because althought true enough its not a Universal Rule, the Psychic power also doenst have the authority to seperate a Unit. But thats just what our group say.

I would say that technically you move the squad. This is because the squad is not immune to Lash, and the squad is what is targeted.
However, when moving them, you are limited to moving at the speed of the slowest model. In this case, the slowest model is Kharn, who you can't move at all due to his immunity. So, the entire squad is limited to moving 0".

IIRC, Lash causes a Pinning test on the unit it hits. If Kharn is joined to a non-Fearless unit, would you say it is possible to pin that unit still?

The spell also forces a pinning check, but since Khârn was immune to the spell and therefore not affected, how does it work? Having him included in the Pinning check would mean that he was affected by the spell, since it's part of the spell effect, but since he's immune to it...
I'd just say they can't be affected by the lash at all, having them affected just brings up more problems than it solves.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

maybe you could just move the berserker while keeping them within unit coherency of kharn...

I think the most reasonable way to play this is that it does not affect the unit with Kharn. It's not a satisfying solution, though :/
