I don't know if this is in the wrong forum or if it has already been said but... What is up with the Ork voice actors for Space Marine? I've downloaded the demo and yes, it is a good game but the Ork voices just irritate me. Is it just me or is this the general thoughts of the community?
It's because we're all a little spoiled by the Ork voices from the Dawn of War games. I don't really mind it, even if they say SPICE MARINES all the time. Most of the voice acting for that game is solid though.
They have this british gangster slang which is kind of catchy to me, that and that orks are sort of like a comedic relief in the otherwise all to serious WH40K universe

Exactly.. Not much can top this:
Dear GOD, the HIVEMINDS A GIRL!!!!
But yeah, the voice acting for orks in DoW was 10000000000000000000000000x better than in space marine, they sound to much like people and not enough like orks.

I through the orks talked to............well normal
Tali'Zorah: I appreciate what you're doing here, Shepard.
Commander Shepard: Well, I care deeply about the quarian people.
Tali'Zorah: It's good to be back on the Normandy.
Commander Shepard: Let me know if it's too quiet for you to sleep, and I'll find you someplace louder.
Tali'Zorah: Hmm.
Garrus Vakarian: Uh, I was there when you two had your thing, remember? Just get a room and work it out.

Sure he pretty much has only one voice (except for his role in The Saboteur, seriously sounds nothing like him) but it suits a variety of characters.
Couldn't imagine anyone else as Wolverine, for instance.
He's not a bad voice actor, he's just absolutely everywhere and uses the same voice 95% of the time. That's not really his fault though, directors just want him to use the same gruff voice. He's been in almost every single videogame I bought between 2008 and now.
