Hey, well at the moment Livingston but my main area will be Edinburgh city centre soon enough. I've not played in a few years myself.

Location?
And I'll give em a check just now

The ELG are amazing, for the record - a real bunch of awesome guys. I've been going for the last couple of months, and made some great friends. Check them out, if you can, and say hi to Tom

Hi scarper
I have just checked out the website and emailed who-ever runs the club. However I'd be very grateful if you could let me know as much as you do, e.g
When it's best to go
Ages of players
Liklihood of getting a game
I do have to say it looks bloody marvellous!
Whose is Tom? I'm guessing yourself?
Many thanks
Mark

Haha, yes, I'm Tom. Asking for 'Scarper' might get you a few weird looks...
The minimum age for the club is 18 (there's a bar on the premises), and the age varies a lot - there are loads of people there in their late teens and early 20s, but there is a big older contingent too.
We meet every wednesday night, from around 6pm to about 11pm, and sometimes there are weekend games too, if you arrange them. Yours odds of getting a game are in the region of 100% - there are usually 10-12 people playing 40k, and we're running an escalation tournament at the moment, so you can probably get 2 or 3 games in. There are loads of guys who play fantasy, blood bowl, warmachine, whatever your flavour, really - I'm trying to get a necromunda campaign going at the moment The terrain owned by the club is also amazing.
Hope you give it a go - it's really friendly, and I reckon the best club in Edinburgh!

I may pop down tomorrow, failing that it'd be over the next couple of weeks as work is quite hectic just now
However you have been extremely helpful and it honestly sounds fantastic right down to the bar
When I do come I'll come and introduce myself to you and maybe you could give me a quick rundown of the place from the inside
Thank you so much

No worries at all! I'm still a bit of a newbie myself, so there are a lot of people I don't know, but I'll do my best to introduce those that I do
Ooh, and if you do pop down tomorrow, we're on 600pt lists at the moment. So throw something together if you can!

Due to me not playing in a couple of years and a recently changed army a lot of my models are unpainted and even unassembled but I'll see if I can field 600pts of unpainted imperial guard would that be acceptable?
Many thanks Tom I'll try my hardest to get through tomorrow
Cheers
