Are there any 20mm games for the mideval period out there that anyone has experience with and can reccomend?

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Well anything you can play in 15mm or 28mm will work in 20mm...

So...

Warhammer Ancients
Hail Caeser
Warmaster
Impetus
Fields of Glory
DBA/DBM

Thousands of rulesets!

Warmaster is one of those games where it's element-based, so as long as you have the proper basing requirements, you can use 20 or even 28mm figures to play.

Then I'd assume for 28mm to triple the base size?

From the Warmaster Ancients rulebook, the recommend base size for 28mm is 80mm wide, and 20mm+ deep (as convenient).

Man, looking at this rulebook shows just how awesome GW could be. I mean, there's a section on recommended company's models to use. And how the heck did I miss their recommendation for Baccus?!

Yup, generally historicals have at least some conversion page around the rulebook for multi scale
