Lets discuss runescape

That's why I stopped playing years ago, that and the damn TRADING LAWS!

I played it for maybe a day or so, each time leaving the starting town and getting killed by a high level player. Didn't like the game to begin with anyway though.

Had a mod account, with santas, DOR and so forth. However my friends screwed me over, stole my rares and jagex didn't give a toss.

Feck runescape. I prefer a game where admins care about veterans and people who have influenced the gaming world.

i liked it. but now i got hacked, and i blaim jagex for bad safety....my dude suddenly was a fem! and all my stuff and money was gone :(

Trading is now free!

I myself am very similar to you in the fact that I also play Runescape.

Lets just say its not the most loved game on Dakka.

Play Darkspace. It is free (completely) and is 10 times better. It is sort of like E.V.E online LITE.

Runescape is alright... well okay the games gak unless you are a member and have allot of friends that play it.

Jagex is a joke as a few people have mentioned they dont give a rip if you get hacked.

And it suffers the main thing i hate about 99% of the RPGs i have played suffer from grinding for hours upon hours just to get your level up or to do anything cool. Another reason why i hate it is i spent at least 50 million gold on my house then got hacked and the house was GONE!

I got bored with it but it was fun when it wasn't boring. man its hard for me.

I don't like the grinding, but I did like questing when I was a member.

Back when I played it had some of the most entertaining questlines of any game I have played however I could never be bothered to grind so I used my OCD friends account as he seemed to be fine with the repetition.

Qusting is cool And clan stuff. However, my own Dutch people only clan is recently offline.

Meh, Knox made me try it and... to put it plainly it's really meant for 8 year olds. Don't mean to troll or hate, but I'm just giving my opinion as a critic.

I have an account somewhere that probably has about 35 minutes of play on it. It's incredibly boring and the game mechanics are beyond simple, to the point of where it becomes 'durp click enemy kill loot'

it is kinda true...
i was 10 or something like that, when i created an account.....
and i still dont think its a grerat game....only played when i was bored
