As the title says really. I already have a land raider redeemer and this as served me well in nearly every game I have played. I have a lot of termies (around 20 in my 3000 point army) and having a second land raider would give me more transport to run more termies. (Which in my mind makes for a rather fun list). However, 2 or 3 predators would also be tactically useful and bring something new to my army (my only other heavy support is devastators which I rarely ever use outside of Apocalypse). While on the topic of heavy support maybe a few vindicators would be useful..?

Basically give me your few about what you think i should get. If you need to know what else I have to make a better decision just ask. (I'm too lazy to type it all out.)

Atm my vote is for another land raider.Which type, however, is probably for another topic.

Which army?
I would go for two raiders for the size of battlefield in apoc.

Salamanders/vanilla marines.

I don't play apocalypse often though but that is true.

I love Crusaders personally..... you can stuff a huge squad of Termies inside plus a snazzy hero or two in Termie armour.... and Hurricane Bolters + Assault Cannon combination has a nasty habit of ripping infantry apart.... not to mention that you can stick a Multi-melta on top.

What size army are you running normally, and what do you take?

Well normally I play 1500 and the list is roughly:

Vulkan
Tact squad with melta,MM, rhino
Tact squad with melta, ML, combimelta, rhino
Another tact squad with various loadout depending on the game
Landraider redeemer w/MM which has thunder hammer termies in
some dreads or assualt marines (depending how i feel)

I would probably only use a second landraider if i was playing a 2000 point game.

What about the preds/vindicators?

Good choice not taking two under 2000.

As far as pred. vs. Vindicator, I've used my predator with mixed success, but I don't doubt that more than one would be better. If you decide on predators I'd take just dakka ones as you seem to have AT covered pretty well.

Can't say much about vindies since I don't own one. From what I've heard they're pretty damn good.

If you run a vindi, run 2 or 3 min. Stopping a single vindi isn't hard if your opponent is set on it. Stopping 2-3 of them at once is rather hard.

My Current 2k lists runs as:

Vulkan
Libby w/ Nullzone, Avenger, Terminator Armor w/ Storm Shield

5x Tactical w/ Power weapon, Meltabomb, Razorback, Dozerblade
5x Tactical w/ Power weapon, Meltabomb, Razorback, Dozerblade
5x Tactical w/ Power weapon, Meltabomb, Razorback, Dozerblade

Assault Terminators 5x Hammers w/ LR Redeemer w/ extra armor and MM
Rifleman Dreadnought
Rifleman Dreadnought

Landspeeder w 2x MM
Landspeeder w 2x MM
Landspeeder w 2x MM

Vindicator w/ Siege Shield
Vindicator w/ Siege Shield

Its only 15 dudes of scoring but your opponent will be scrambling on turns 1 and 2 to kill the speeders lest they slag the opponents tanks, by then the vindi's and LR will be in position. The HB's on the razors can work on exposed infantry and the riflemans help w/ demech and later anti-infantry work. The vindi's tend to get ignored in favor of trying to stop the LR (Hammernators w/ MC weapons and nullzone backing them can whack on nearly any deathstar in the game save deathcult assasins)

That is a pretty decent list actually. Im liking the idea of 2 vindicators now actually as they give anti tank and anti troops, well anti anything which it hits really haha

Exactly My only beef is that it's only 24 inch range. But I put one in nearly every list I can. It's too darn useful. I'd choose a Vindicator over a land raider 8/10 times. And you can get 2 Vindi's for less than the price of 1 LR most of the time.

I am a huge fan of vindi's, but I always take a LR in 2000 pts or higher because they are a massive target which helps divert a lot of fire away from my vindi's and if it makes it to the enemy it is going to ruin someones day.

I'd say pick up a Crusader, personally. I like the ability to move and fire all of your weapons. (The hurricane bolters are defensive weapons, doncha know.) It sounds like your list isn't very armor heavy right now, so I would double up on the big guns. If you already had multiple vehicles in the list, I would say diversify.

2 LR would be better in my opinion, 2 of them each carrying TH/SS Termies is pretty difficult to deal with.
