I am making a group of incredibly diminutive (1:72 scale) guardsmen for my catachans. they will count as an infantry platoon, but i may expand. i am using 1:72 scale m3 halftracks for the chimeras (by hasegawa models), and i am fixing los by putting them on elevated bases (will also make one for chimera). I don't really need to worry about tournaments, because the closest gw is in another state and my flgs seems to be okay with non-gw models (they even sell some ).

For casual games, not a problem - good to see you're taking LoS into account. They'll unavoidably look a bit weird though, as they'll be holding shrunken weapons too - I mean, if the IG can build teeny tiny weapons for midget guardsmen, why not issue such weapons to normal sized IG too
