You have nothing that will do a good job killing tanks. Full squads of firedragons is a big points drop to kill one tank. Try fire prisms and think of adding some diversity.

Meh, the ONLY thing the scatter lasers can't kill is AV 13+ and that is plenty good for fire dragons (there are not many av13+ tanks in the game). I'd prefer taking maybe 7 Fire Dragons and an exarch with firepike and such. The list is fine IMO. Though, if you could, I would consider taking 3 falcons with holofields and dropping 3 squads to 5 one falcon with star engines to turbo and get your "messenger" into opponent's deployment zone your first turn then the next to turbo the heck out of there.

I personally do not think Falcons are all that. I would rather see fire prisms (if you take one, you need two) or do some squads of war walkers with scatter lasers. Have exarch bladestorm with avengers, Maybe do two squads of dragons and 1 squad of 10 banshees put Eldrad with them and consider with Jain Zar - she has a strength 5 triskle, executioner, immune to instant death and gives H.B.s Furious charge and fearless (which has its good and bad). I just think for the points Falcons are not worth their money and I think Wave serpents with their power field, turbo boosted and fortuned are more survivable than Falcons. Cheers

Is this a serious list?

You're just throwing 9 WS out there and hoping for the best? I know that's 36 TL S6 shots. But, I think you're in serious trouble if you try this.

Fill out those HS slots and upgrade some DA squads!

I played against a list similar to this several times with my SW at different point levels and it is brutal against MEQ armies running Mech. The only thing that saved me in the one game I won, I have gone 1-1-1 against this type of Eldar list, was my first round of shooting was stellar and I dropped 4 Serpents leaving 1 DA squad and all the FD with out a ride. I think the list is fine as is. I would have been much happier seeing War Walkers and Fire Prisms across from me.

For a local tourney? Maybe.

For 'Ard Boyz? No way.

Couple of things:

1. Fire Dragons are meant to be a suicide unit. 5 Melta guns at BS4 can reliably take out any vehicle you'll meet; no point sending out squads of 10 as suicide units.

2. Dire Avengers should all contain 5 men, again, they'll get shot up faster then you can shoot someone else up.

3. All your Wave Serpents should have shuriken cannons; hell of a lot cheaper and you're only losing 1 shot. Also, drop the spirit stones on all the DA serpents and give them an additional shuriken cannon.

4. I'd prefer to see dual-Autarch rather than Eldrad so you're guaranteed the Alpha-strike.

5. A rule of thumb with Eldar: your heavy support should be the first thing you fill. In this list, I'd recommend 3 Fire Prisms for any heavy duty tank-hunting that needs done or some much more effective horde-control.

Iranna.
