Ok, I have a 1750 tourney coming up and I am planning on taking my Templars. I have 1539pts so far, but what should I do with the rest. So what do you guys think?

Squeeze in a couple of preds. I would be worried about the lack of scoring units and that when they venture out they will be unguarded. Also I would like to take a cc daemon at this level as one is needed at this points level. However all these concerns are natural for a shooting list .

First I wouldn't take the neophytes as they don't really give you anything that an initiate can't do better. Second I would drop the pair of claws on your Marshal down to 1 and a SS. That should also let you drop the iron halo. Honestly I don't know why he is here at all. Dropping him altogether would give you room for the 4th squad AND a predator/LS Typhoons. Marshals in a shooty list are there at higher levels to get more tank hunting CML. Marshals are geared out more or less how you have them for CC lists.

I have him there for the leadership 10. And the neophytes were there just for filler.

Not the vindis they have too short a range to fit in your stand back and shoot list. Preds with/without spirit would be a good choice probably with heavy bolters to mow troops down.

As your last change I think was from a request for cc daemon I should explain. Most/all lists require a cc unit that can really hurt the enemy where shooting isn't going to work, just for protection. Your 4th squad is not good at cc. Your list goes against this and will try to shoot everything which is fine.

Predators > Typhoon speeders > Termies.

I wouldn't take two termy squads. I usually run the following at 1750: EC, Marshal, 5 Tank hunter termies, 4x5 marine (plasma, lascannon), 3x2 typhoon speeders and 3x ACLC Predators. It can fire 16 rockets (either krak or frag), 10 lascannon shot and six autocannon shots not to forget the plasma guns on crusaders.
