This is my first crack but let me know what you think.

HERO

Bruiser - 193
BSB, Rampage Std., Hvy A., Ironfist

CORE

15x Ironguts - 730
Full Command, Dragonhide Banner, Look Out Gnoblar

SPECIAL

4x Sabretusk - 84

4x Sabretusk - 84

Gorger - 90

4x Mournfang - 280
Ironfists, Hvy A.

RARE

Thundertusk - 250

Ironblaster - 170

TOTAL: 2496

Characters ride in the Horde Ironguts which is supported by the Thundertusk and also flanked by the Mournfang. Sabretusk units for charge control and war machine hunting and Gorger for war machine hunting or additional combat support. Ironblaster flank charger/cavalry charger.

Ideally Ironblaster and Mournfang would charge same targets.

Tyrant hangs out and deals out challenges while the SM buffs the hell out of the unit.

Kinda a little mixed up with unit purposes.

Ironblasters are supposed to shoot. their CC ability is only to protect themselves.

I don't like the units of 4 Sabretusks. have 3 units of 3. Their purpose is to block enemy charges and hunt warmachines or rape small shooty units.

Dragonhide banner is best on Mournfangs. They benifit more.

Ironguts are fine, but your main line should be Ogre Bulls with Ironfists.

Tyrants, as much as it pains me, are no longer the best choice. With SMs becoming soo expensive, yet being so vital, we just can't afford a Tyrant. I won't even consider a Tyrant below 3k and I won't feel comfortable till 4k.

I'm not entirely sure how they would all play out, but I get uncomfortable putting 1500+ points in one unit.

I'd also agree with not using the 170pt cannon as a battering ram. Even if it can do okay at it, it's better shooting IMHO. It can still move and shoot, so you can move up and get nearer combat when/if everything of value is engaged.

Sabertusks are going to break if anyone sneezes at them if they go running off. But I guess they are a cheap way to try and stop flanking. But I wouldn't expect them to go tearing off after things.

Again, nothing wrong with gutstars, but that's a really gigantic one, and if you get some simple hex/curse cast on you, your army just became vastly weaker. At least find a way to get your Slaughter a dispel scroll. A mega 6th lvl, even if if scatters can wipe out a huge chunk of your forces.

Your caster has the ability to stretch his spells into AE around him. I think it might be of benefit to maybe split that unit into 2-3 maybe with cheaper bulls as well as IG.

The optimum unit size currently appears to be 9 or 12. 12 for Bulls, Ironguts only 12 at really high points.

At least 2 units of 12 Bulls, maybe a unit of 9 Ironguts.

Bulls are super cheap now and can be run in frightining numbers.
