I thought I might start posting this up as I go along, maybe I can teach someone a trick or two and it will keep me motivated:

My test models

Teaser pic:

This is just the test models I prepared, but I'll add more content as I go.

Progress so far: 1/103 Infantry, 3/16 vehicles
The tournament is Oct 22nd!!!

The list I am painting is the following:

My list

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

I assume you're doing a lot of airbrushing? I looks great so far. I'm curious as to how you do your yellows. Any tips and tricks you want to convey would be most appreciated!

I'm definitely going to be doing some step-by-steps down the line, just working on some assembly for the next couple nights.

Well, I thought I'd post up my quick guide about how to assemble the Forgeworld Hydra, maybe someone will find it useful. I did this with a little plasticard, no greenstuff, and it looks pretty good:

Hydra Assembly Guide

Hopefully it helps someone out dealing with this mess. Now, back to painting, updates soon!

Curious to see this. It is quite an undertaking. I did 70 guardmen in a two day stretch and it was brutal. Worth it though.

Looking good so far. I love airbrushing and I could not go back to life without mine.

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.

Okay, I made a quick step-by-step of how I painted my Stormtroopers. I decided to knock these guys off early in my painting because they have more details than any other models in the list. First off, the finished product:

(Ready to melta)

Now then, on to the guide:
