Okay so I made a list, a while ago and after some thinking decided to include another tactical squad to increase the number of scoring units. My basic game plan is predators and rifleman torrent fire at the opposition, trying to keep everything else hidden/in cover to torrent melta and anything that comes too close. Alternatively if playing a similar style army the attack bikes and rhinos can charge up field to get stuck in. One of the downsides of this list is it's offering up 17 KPs but unfortunately I can't really see a way round it.

Comments and critisms welcome but a fore-warning I prefer rhinos to razorbacks (much rather have all my marines in a metal box than half/none) and I've personally found attack bikes to be far superior to land speeders (not necessarily typhoons but certainly MM/HF). Also there's potentially 45pts spare if I ditch the combi-weapons on the tactical squads and all the dozer blades but can't think what I'd get. Peace out.

I think you need some lascannons. You have too much antiinfantry guns not enough antitank. Otherwise I would be happy. The attack bikes do not really fit in for me but hey it is only 200 pts once you sell one to get lascannons.

Drop all the bikes and rifleman noughts. Add 2 MM/HF speeders not squadded, upgrade the preds to auto/las, add pedro

Did you even bother to read what the OP wrote? What good does Pedro do? He makes a 6 man squad of sternguard scoring and turns the whole army into stubborn but without an CC capabilities what so ever...That said, upgrading 2 Preds to ACLC preds would be a good idea imo. I would drop one bike, the dozerblades and down grade a HF to a combi HF, or possible drop ing a single combi on the tacticals

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

I think BronzeJon was probably taking the p*ss.

Tedurer, good suggestion I might be more tempted to drop the dakka pred to upgrade the other two, but your suggestion also works. I'm not too keen on combi-flamers for sternguard though, they're just not killy enough. I've found when I'm using them they normally get in flamer range pretty easily and 3 Str5 flamer templates is awesome (the third is from the librarian)

Also I probably should of been more specific I've painted my army up as crimson fists (I really like the colour scheme and the background Rynn's world). I really like pedro, but feel you need to run him with a death star to be effective (+ 1 attack bubble is awesome with honour guard or assault terminators).

I like the OP's list. I think it covers all the bases very nicely. enough dakka for hordes, enough dakka with range for light vehicle spam, enough melta for most list barring the occassional leafblower. It looks ready for play testing to me.

I have a love /hate relationship with anything green.

Cheers Deuce :-D I'm play testing it at the moment and its definitely done okay for its self so far (only played against marines so far). I thought I'd see anyone had any suggestions/obvious flaws as I'm probably not going to get the chance to play against all the armies I'd like (mainly the tournament builds GK, DE, SW etc).

The List looks solid and should do well.
