Are they counted as Daemons? Because the codex doesn't count for them being daemons...but in the Grey knights FAQ it says they are, but i would of thought it would of been stated in the chaos codex and not in a different codex FAQ all together.

Codex came first, then clarification in the FaQ. So yes, they count as daemons... to Grey Knights. Lord alone knows if they count as daemons to everyone @..@

Yes and no. If you look at the FAQ they count as deamons from a GK perspective. No one elses.

Pretre: Are repressors assault vehicles? If they are, I'm gonna need emergency pants.
n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

Except it would make sense that if they are deamons to GK's they are deamons to everyone.

Some times GW answers general FaQ's in a certain armies FaQ

Since GW likes to equate fluff to rules.

Just wondering, in what way would it matter if they are daemons or not to anyone other than GKs?

Some codexes, other than the Grey Knights, have units and or characters with special rules that work against daemons.

That's what I'm asking. What else is there that has special rules against daemons? I'm not implying there isn't anything, I'm just genuinely curious.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

It makes perfect sense. Of course the rules are based on the fluff. What sort of world would we live in where we played games in which the fluff was based on the rules? It'd be like a bad D&D webcomic.

I wish they counted as daemons in the dex, they would get eternal warrior and wouldnt die from a stupid single lascanon or melta shot.

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun.
