Basically, we're using the Mighty Empires tiles to track progress. The rules are fairly simple; you have and can never lose your starting tile. That gives you 500 points to build your army. You gain a tile for each game you win or lose a tile for each game you lose. Those additional tiles are worth 100 points each. Ties give nothing to either player.

I've decided to go with Ogres for this campaign and threw together a quick starting force.

Ogres - 499
114 | Bruiser (Ironfist, Ironcurse Icon)
256 | Bulls x8 (Ironfists)
129 | Leadbelchers x3

This isn't an escalation league so I get to make an entirely new list at each point break, should I desire. So, any comments, suggestions, or concerns?

I think its pretty solid for 500 points. that's like... 37 wounds on the table?

in my 500 point, I have...
1 CoTE with Battlestandard
2 10-man handgunner squads
4 5-man detachments w/ handguns
1 great cannon.

That's pretty good, but its short range isn't it? I'd be pummeling you all the way across the board in pitched battle, but if the ironbelchers had a range better than 30", I'd be F**cked so hard my mother would kick me out of the house.

plus, ogres on the charge are only bested by knights of the grail on the charge. even then, it's only the distance that they travel that makes the difference.

This sounds freaking sweet I am going to have to try one of these game types.
