Hi guys I have a couple of questions that I'm having a hard time interpreting. I don't want to sound like a noob but heres the questions

how do cover saves work? Do i roll twice for saves if they are
behind cover? One roll for armor save and one roll for cover save?

Does my sergeant get an extra range attack since his attack value
is 2? Lets say he has a bolt pistol and is shooting at someone
would he shoot twice since he has two attacks?

I don't have anyone to teach me except you guys lol thanks for your help it is greatly appreciated

For all the slaaneshy's out there

Page 24 of BGB, Models With more than one save
You only ever get 1 save.

The attacks characteristic only applies to close combat attacks. You only ever get 1 shot with each model.

Not entirely true. You get the number of shots equal to the weapon profile. My Sluggas get one shot, Shootas get 2 shots and Big Shootas get 3 shots.

Yup. I used the wrong term there. You only get to fire 1 weapon with each model. That weapon may have multiple shots.

(Exceptions are Vehicles, MCs, and Tau that you've given that upgrade to, they can all fire multiple weapons)

Re-amending: You generally only get to fire 1 Shooting weapon, or make 1 Psychic Shooting Attack(PSA) without further special rules. The weapon or PSA will dictate the number of actual shots fired from it.

Gramkmar has given several specific examples of models that either flat have, or may have special rules allowing them to fire multiple shooting weapons/PSA.

You may only ever use(or attempt to use in the case of PSAs) each shooting weapon/PSA 1 time(Failing the Psychic test on a PSA, or any Psichic power, counts as the use of that power, and the shooting of a ranged weapon in the case of PSAs).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
