Hello All !

Here are some pics of an Eldar Alaitoc Craftworld Warlock.

I am thinking about putting it on ebay this weekend along with some other painted models.

I hope you like it.

Thanks

really nice job - clean & bright the way eldar are meant to be.
Love the little cracks on the staff - I presume these are painted on & not part of the mini?

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

You would be correct. The cracks are painted on.

Thank you

Not my favorite color scheme. But, you did an excellent job with it! The bone, especially, looks really great.

Very well executed. Sharp and vibrant, as Eldar should be. Very clean work you did there as well. Only thing I could see having added would be some Eldar runes on the robe. Of course, if you free hand is like mine i would be worried it wasn't perfect enough and thus would detract from the other great work you did there. Cheers.

can I ask how you do the shading like that on the cloak? is it a wash with highlights or something?

(looks great by the way, i'm a Biel-Tan guy myself but you made it look nice)

I painted it in layers. Primed black then painted the cloak Regal Blue. Then Ultramarine blue, then a highlight of a light blue. Then went back with a little bit of blue wash in the shaded areas.
