Reading a Ciaphas Cain book outside the Black Library

-Librarian

-Dreadnought w/ Assault Cannon
-Terminator Squad (5) - in Land Raider Crusader w/ Multimelta
-Sternguard Veterans w/ combi-melta - in Razorback

-Tactical Squad w/ Flamer/Multimelta - in Drop Pod
-Tactical Squad w/ Meltagun/Plasma Cannon (I'm dealing with a lot of meqs) - in Rhino
-Scout Squad w/ Sniper Rifles x4 and 1 ML

-Predator Tank w/ TLLC & LC Sponsons

Exactly 1500 plus or minus 5.

What should I do to improve it? I'm fighting mostly against battlesuits and other sm.

Question about the Libriarian: what squad would he be best in? And what psychic powers should I give him?

Thanks in advance.

It would help if you specified which models.

You only have a few models that can do damage at a far range, get a few more shootys to cover the guns going in with meltas and such

Drop the melta guns and flamers and get Missile launchers amd you list is gold against other SM armies. You will have trouble with hoard armies with this load out. A heavy armor army add las cannons, but its a solid list vs most other armies, psycic opwers take everything ranged as Tao are almost defenceless. Libraian should have a 5 man unit armed with powerfists/lightining claws for the kill factor.

Scout Squad should be a 5-man Marine Devistator squad with 2 missile launchers, 2 auto cannons and 1 hvy bolter. but thats just me.....

Chaos rules you all drool! Blood for the Blood God!

The last question first. Null zone and then whatever suits how you use him. You'll know that after the first battle.

Nothing works together in your list.
Drop pod goes by itself and can take down troops as it lands, then it is alone.
You will want to send your landraider within shooting range/ charging range it is av14 brick that is ahuge target.
Your razorback will want to go 6'' crawl forward.
Your rhino will sit back and shoot the cannon.
Pred will sit back and now and then move.

Your are dividing your army up into manageable pieces. Except against Tau where you will rush at full speed then get enough through to them to win in the resulting melee.

Quick fixes
flamer, plasma cannon, razorback
combimelta, melta, multimelta rhino
Sternguard 5combimeltas drop pod

Now you can keep the cannon back to shoot. the rhino can come forward to melt stuff, the razorback has friends and these two can support the huge target that is the land raider.
The sternguard can remove some tank threats in their drop pod and you have a reasonable range of fire.

Slow fix
How do you want your army to work?
If you want to roll your raider up down the centre like a bowling ball fine. But this requires covering tanks. I would for a few rhinos.
If you roll slowly then mostly razorbacks.
Not roll at all then preds and razorbacks.

Don't listen to this guy, OP, he doesn't even know what the Marine Codex has got.

As mentioned, the Librarian uses Null Zone and The Avenger will be in handy if you fight a lot of MEQ.

the TLLC is a waste of points. Thh AC is usually better at what you want your predator t do, that is, shoot transports and low AV.

I assume the Terminatrs are Assault with 5x Thunder Hammer/SS?

Sternguard are better of in a Drop Pod, but then again so is the Dreadnaught because of the low range on his Cannon.

Also, the Crusader is IMHO the worst LR variant. The redeemer is the best, but I myself use the Godhammer because I usually need its Lascannons.
