I see where you are going with the list and I'm very curious to hear how the Karandaras/Scorpion loadout works.

The one thing I would alter if possible would be the Vypers. I'd use War Walkers instead. The only time I'd take Vypers is when I've run out of HS slots and that was the only option. They are especially fragile to the point I think they are overcosted.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Well, you don't need more than 3 scoring units. For this, I'd drop one unit of Storm Guardians giving the remaining squad 2 flamers, since melta guns for BS 3 poets and philosophers is a gamble. Similarly, Karandras and a unit of outflanking or infiltrating Scorpions is a gamble. They'll eventually shot to pieces before they'll reach the enemy front ranks. I suggest a mounted Seer Council - harder to crack than a coco nut.

A Jet Council is something you build a list around, not something you add to a list.

Well, it was not the Jet Council I mentioned but a footslogging Council mounted in a Serpent. Its harder to pull off but fits better into a mech list.

karandras is staying for the time being...he is my real interest in eldar right now.

as for the vypers...i agree that war walkers would be smarter...I just want a little more speed and fun for the time being.

I could drop a storm guardian squad for walkers...

Ah, sorry. Mounted usually means a mount, and a jetbike is a mount.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I meant mounted (in a Serpent) - sorry.

Well, Karandras is a beast in cc if he ever get into a melee.
Yeah, I'd drop SG for some Warwalkers, 3 with dual scatter lasers can be a pain for the enemy.

Cool list =D most people doesn't use the phoenix lords but i have to agree that Karandras is cool. Striking scorpions just happens to be my favorite aspect (since i read ''Path of the Warrior'') but it kinda sucks that karandras strikes last in close combat due to his power claw=/
