can someone explain this? it seems they took away my vet's super bolter ammo:

and replaced it with the lethality of an airzooka:

am i wrong?

blood angels: 3500+? (no codex)

They made the same errata to the regular Space Marine Vets, for clarity, since 'Strength X' is never really explained, and is generally only applied to Sniper weapons.

Just from curiosity, how exactly do you think it has reduced their effectiveness?

And? They are still poisoned, 2+, meaning they now get a reroll against toughness 1 models. Previously they never got a reroll. Big deal

The Strength 1 is specifically against Vehicles and models immune to poison, since there's the occasional confusion of whether a Poisoned Weapon can penetrate a vehicle.

Poisoned ranged attacks dont have a great set of rules - only the DE seem to have managed it.....

It is only CC poisoned attacks that can re-roll.

P 42 deals with melee attacks, as stated above. There is no rule letting you re-roll shooting attacks.

However, those are the only rules for poisoned weapons, which some shooting weapons clearly reference, hence the confusion and hence why GW created the errata to clarify the situation.
