Hi Dakkadakka,

I just started playing necrons a few months ago and noticed that on page 21 of the codex it states under special rules for the monolith that a monolith can be deployed via deep strike. Does that mean that during my deployment I can deep strike anywhere on the board? Including outside of my own deployment zone? I searched dakka and couldn't find anything referring to this question - although I'm sure it's been discussed I just couldn't find it.

Page 95 covers deepstrike - in otherwords it is normal deepstrike, i.e in Reserves, can turn up turn 2 onwards.

It is "deployed" not "deployment". One is the point before turn 1 when you stick models down (or not...) and the other is whenever models first get onto the board.

You can only deep strike on turn 2 or later (it is determined randomly), or you can deploy the Monolith normally in your deployment zone. You should probably brush up on the deep strike rules in the 40k Rulebook.
