Modified my previous 2000 point list to get some more utility by adding a libby. Was also thinking of Taking Tigurius for the reserve roll modifier (even though he doesn't really fit with the fluff)

HQ:

Darnath Lysander - 200 Pts
Librarian Terminator - w/Gate of Infinity, Null Zone: 125

Troops:

10x Tactical Squad - Melta, Multi-Melta, Plasma Pistol/Chainsword: 230
Rhino w/Dozer Blade

10x Tactical Squad - Flamer, Missile Launcher, Combi-Melta: 225
Drop Pod w/Beacon

5x Scout Squad - Sniper Rifles, Camo Cloaks: 90

Elites:

10x Tactical Terminator Squad w/2x Cyclone Missile Launcher, 2x Chainfists: 470
(Librarian accompany)

10x Sternguard Veteran Squad w/2x Combi-Flamer, 6x Combi-Melta: 335
Drop Pod w/Beacon (Lysander accompany)

Heavy Support:

1x Predator - Autocannon, Lascannon Sponsons: 120
1x Predator - Autocannon, Lascannon Sponsons: 120
1x Predator - Autocannon, Heavy Bolter Sponsons: 85

Total: 2000

I've mainly sent in the Sternguard and Lysander together where needed. Shortly after that, the Squad of Termies deep strikes next to the Sternguard for support with more killy action. The main change to my list was removing a Tac squad, and adding some Scouts and a Libby that will let me get movement for either the Sternguard and Lysander, or the Termies after they hit the board. In the last couple games, I've found that while that Sternguard and Termies kill a whole lot, they don't do much afterward. Anyone have any experience running something like this?

(I know some people will say that 2 pods are too few, but it's worked well for me so far).

2 pods are okay but if at all possible try to get three maybe replace the rhino with one
one of the tac squads can always stay back and then land on a objective.

As for the terminators and sterngaurd how do you drop the sternguard that the end up stranded?
also how good do the predators do? you may want to consider getting a lrc instead and riding the terminators in it
I have never really played deep striking terminators so idk... it could be something to try.

if you did go with the lrc then you should probably drop GoI and go with something like the avenger...

Actually your list is pretty strong although it does not have very many troops (CS should help this tho)

gl with your games

Firstly Tigurius is not quite as bad people say but this list would be worse for him. He can be worth his points for the record.
Next is there any chance you'll consider dropping Lysander? Thought not.

I would have melta, combimelta, multimelta drop pod this gets the guns in range and means they can melt a tank when it lands. The rhino can be still or the missile launcher can combat squaded.

Do you combat squad the sternguard? Sometimes this will be a great move. Also Lysander running with the termies will sometimes fit very well. As will footslogging the termies.

All in all the list looks good. I like the split between a shooting element and then having the forward elements.

Drop pods
1 Suicide unit
2 Suicide unit and tactical deployment unit
3 Virtually a drop pod army which will change the feel of your army.

So I would either go for a new rhino or the 2 drop pods you have.
