Star Wars battlefront is five dollars on STEAM today, and until 10:AM Monday. Also, there were over 900 people playing it today! It lives!!!!!!

I picked it up along with Complete Saga and Knights of the Old Republic. Stayed up all night watching the original trilogy and playing both games.

I'm amazed at how addictive this game is, considering that once you've played one mission, the rest are pretty much the same. I'm working my way through the second Galactic Conquest campaign right now, despite the fact that every attack/defense mission is virtually identical other than the location.

Star Wars Battlefront is an amazing game, I just brought it for the PS2 about two weeks ago as my xbox is dead, and for some bizarre reason SW battlefront and Timesplitters where some of the games never updated for the 360.

Would like to get SW BAttlefront 2 as well, sadly I doubt it is possible to get the downloadable jedi anymore.

One of the biggest what the feth things in my mind right now is why EA haven't brought out Battlefront 3. It seems madness to me. If you want a little pain, go look up Star Wars Battlefront 3 on youtube for the leaked vid from a Crystal Dynamics meeting from a couple years back. I watched it last week, and I'm still there wondering why the hell wasn't a game that far along and looking that danged good not released.

There is actually some decent evidence to suggest that Spark Unlimited is working on Star Wars battlefront 3. They are even trolling the people who ask them if they are.

A mite bit concerned that the three games they have released have scored an average of 5 or less out of ten.

Maybe SWB3 would be the title that turns them around.

$5!? that's a great price for hours of fun and games. I had them both on my old xbox before I 'upgraded' to a 360 (that was an expensive mistake). I kinda miss them, although there is not much stopping me from going on eBay and finding an xbox and both copies again....Hmmmmm, I smell a plan. Anyone have any ideas about how I could get an xbox delivery past the good lady wife without her noticing?

Totally worth it if you don't already have it. There's a huge conversion pack on Moddb.com that adds some maps custom skins and hero classes. Very impressive mod.

Luckily, BF2 is a game you don't really need an online community to enjoy. The Online community was never much fun anyway

edit - yep they work, awesome, well that solves any worries of buying SWBF2 on the PS2. Sadly Timeplitters 2 is still unsupported, shame. I assume there must have been some more updates I missed, as all I remember was trying them, they didn't work, then a few months later one of the Official Xbox mags broke the news they would no longer be upgrading xbox games to work on the 360.

Battlefront 2 is more active now than it has been in years lol. This is awesome. Who needs call of duty when SW BF2 is active? lol

I have it a long time, but it doesnt work anymore. Alas.
