If I create an infantry platoon and I have 4 Infantry Squads combined in a power blob, one Platoon Command Squad, and one Heavy Weapon Team does that mean I only have 3 score-able kills for my enemy?

If I combine the HW team in the 4 infantry power Blob do I then have only 2 points for the enemy with ?

You can only blob the Infantry Squads. Not to worry as a HWT is already part of the squad that bought it... Unless you mean a Heavy Weapon Squad (3 HWTs bought as a squad).

If you have 3 units that is correct.

Kill Points cares about how many Units are destroyed at the end of the battle.

So you kill 1 unit that is 1 Kill Point.

Kill that units Dedicated transport, that is another Kill point. Etc.

I'm going to assume you actually mean a Heavy Weapon SQUAD, which is composed of three Heavy Weapons TEAMs? Minimum you can get to in that configuration is 3 KP, since only Infantry squads can be blobbed. The HW Squad will always be it's own unit.
