Do Griffon Mortars that have LOS to a unit get to subtract their ballistic skill from the deviation? The reason I ask is that they are not allowed to fire directly, they can only fire indirect.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)
Adepticon 2011- Combat Patrol Best General

No, since they can only fire indirectly they must use the indirect fire rules.

fixed that for you

....which lets you subtract your BS IF you can see your target. Have another read through of the IF rules.

Wich prevent them to fire on units in LOS?

Only when you fire indirectly and doesnt have LOS does you not reduce scatter with BS.

P. 32 in BRB. Barrage rules. Last point.

You can still fire indirectly with LOS.

If outside the minimum range, with LOS, it will still be barrage.

Direct fire just allows you to ignore the minimum range limitation (and changes the cover limitations).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I stand corrected but the correct citation is page 30 under Blast.
