So I'm thinking about starting aeronautica imperialis. It looks like a cool and fun game. I read an online format of the main rulebook but couldnt find extended rules online for the tactica supplement book. I play tau and orks in 40k and I'm thinking that I will stick with orks for AI.

Does anyone play with or against orks and have any tips?

Here's what I'm thinking about for my first purchase:
4 Ork Fightas
2 Ork Bommas
1 Ork Blasta Bommer (looks very orky)

OR

6 Ork Fightas
2 Ork Bommas

I'll also buy the cards. hoping some people will go in on an the supplement book since i found an online format for the main book

AI is a great game, but you won't find a lot of "new" discussion of it here.

Might I suggest you take a look at the Airspace forum?

As for Orks, I have found people live Fighta-Bombaz with Grot Bombz. Personally I haven't used them.

I've scratchbuilt my own honest answer is the Blasta Bomma is very much a scenario piece it's crazy in normal games either force sounds fine mind.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

It is good game. I've had a few blasts with it playing both Eldar and Imperial squadrons. It is tricky to get your head around and master. Its still taking me some time to figure it out. You almost have to plan your positioning, trying to second guess your opponent and have your planes in a position to attack his while keeping outside of their fire arks. The only downside is that its forgeworld with all the expense that comes with it.
