6 warbikers w/ nob, pk
10 boyz w/ nob, pk, boss pole in a trukk
BA:
Mafiston
5 DC w/ jet packs, pistols
1 DC dreadnaught w/ 2 blood talons
Who do you think should win?
also, do you think these kinds of small skirmishes help with finding effective tactics for larger games?
since i don't think you should all be held in suspense, the orks won 2 out of 3 annihilation rounds. my friend thinks i shouldn't have won. i think he is dangerously overestimating his units abilities.

I would have expected the Orks to get wiped, the ork list lacks the tools to deal with an blood talon dread (which will eat your entire 10 man squad) nor mephiston, nor s5 FnP marines. While rage sucks, if he catches your bikes the your screwed.
That said as the orks won 2 of the 3 games my guess would be wrong.

Actually, Wazzdakka has a S8 assault 4 weapon he can fire while turbo-boosting, that will deal with the dread pretty good.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

Dunno, I'd still be rather worried. 4 shots will get 1.33 hits and 0.4443 pens and DC dreads ignore stun/shaken results so I don't think it'd be that reliable myself.

I was schocked about 2/3
unless they did all the missions out of the book, with the orks taking both the objective based as DC cannot score
and BA taking them in KP
Mephi Really should slaughter the Bikes in CC, with or without assistance from the DC
And the dread will eat what it catches

Those are my favorite lists ever for a 500 point game. It would probably be better for the BA player to field shooty elements though.
