Medusas are nice in small point games, as long as you stick to direct fire. they are quite vulnerable though, and eat up quite a lot of points.

A Medusa is nice in a small point game; however, they cannot fire indirectly and do not have the 'Barrage' weapon type.

Medusa's are best used in Apoc games, maybe in squadrons or in pairs. In small games unless your defending a base, assualts they are targeted and destroyed by turn 3

I've been extremely happy with my Medusas in smaller games. On a 4*4 table, their 36" range gives them projection over almost the entire board, and the low cost of IG units makes it easy to always have something around to shield their vulnerable flanks and keep attackers at arm's length to be pummeled.

That what my medusa do most of the time DaddyWarcrimes , But saying it will be dead by turn3 ish , well take your leman russ it will probs be dead turn 2 as it is much bigger threat but have more targets(ok maybe they cant do as much, but there is a lot more of them) makes them a smaller targeet so they last longer!

Oklahoma City, Ok.

I would say "yes". but, there are things that are better.
I'd go with a Demolisher for 5 points more. yes, it will be
a fire magnet, as will the Medusa. but at lower point games
your opponent will have a harder time with AV 14 than they
will with AV 12.

I usually prefer to take Russ for lower points, because there tends to be less AT weapons that can kill them.
