Hi everyone

I'm seeking advice for Drazhar, I have nine other basic Incubi and wish to find ways to properly use him and his Incubi retinue during games.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

I used him once. And never again. He is cool and fun but he and 9 incubi is alot of points.

Running out of a WWP or hurtling across the board in a Raider towards their biggest, shinniest, group of dismounted units is the way to go. Problem is the unit is overkill...unless they assault through terrain..initiative 1 incubi are not happy campers.

As to Drazhar himself 2+ armour and EW does not make up for the fact that every power weapon that can is going to go after him (even with darting strike)

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

I see, I could have a Haemonculi deliver him into combat with a WWP or just replace him with another HQ choice.

Point him at the enemy and watch him eat them, also darting strike out of the way of any power weapons.

Still he's not worth his points at all, and any vehicle he and his unit are embarked on will get shot down pretty much straight away.

Drazhar plus 9 Incubi is just massively overkill versus most armies. Against a range army you ll go in and wipe a squad off on the charge then lose your expensive squad due to a feth load of gunfire coming their way.
Just plain 5-6 Incubi is usually good enough to murder most MEQ squads (Maybe with a Klaivex or Archon joining them)
Character wise I'd get Duke Sliscus with WWP, he allows you to DP your portal carriers and their transport right where you ll need them and he's decent in combat and gives you all sorts of benefits.

Sliscus doesn't have a WWP.

You'd need another HQ to tote one along, like an Archon or Haemonculus.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Yea, he plus 2-3 Haemonculi carrying the portals each in a small squad of Wrecks with Venoms should work pretty well.
Sliscus then go find some Warriors/Trueborne to hang out with.

The point is, you can't has Sliscus, 2-3 Haemonculi, AND Drazhar. That's 3 HQ slots.

I like taking advantage of Drazhar's (and most of the HQ's) ability to break the rules. When you charge a unit with an IC, have Drazhar make contact with the IC, then Darting Strike to another part of the combat. The IC can not move again, and won't be in base contact, so you can overwhelm the IC with combat resolution.

Wasnt really taking about Drazhar as much as what good HQ to take in a WWP army.

I'm probably going to replace him with Lady Malys and have Haemonculi to deliver the Incubi into Close combat in smaller games, while in anything higher than 2500 I'll use him. He doesn't seem good in small games and I think Malys and a Cheap Haemonculi with a web-way portal that will deliver my non-mounted troops in to combat.

Generally speaking you want at least 2 portals.

I'm taking two Haemonculi both with portals and they will use them to transport my Wracks onto the field, both will be accompanied by Incubi mounted on Venoms with Duel-Splinter cannons.
