So the models aren't really changeable. However if you can suggest some purchases to bring this up to 2k and make it more effective i'm all ears. What i really need help on is unit size, unit weapons and the like.

1. How should i arrange my units? 5x4 for 20 man units? and 10x4 for the 40 man gobbos? Should the spider riders be 5x2 or 10x1?

2. Should i give the orc boyz extra hand weapons or shields? I really like the idea of an extra attack more then a 6+ ward.

3. Should i model the gobbos with bows as spearmen and add them to the 20 gobbo block to make another 40 gobbo block?

4. My next purchase will probably be more orcs and after that some warmachines, which warmachines do you recommend?

First of all, you should'nt have given your Warboss basha's axe. Its only worth it if your fighting dwarfs. There are MUCH better weapons for the same or similiar price in the main rulebook.
You should change all your gobbo units to either a horde unit (10 long) of 80, or two horde units of 40.
Orc boyz with additional hand weapons all the way, did you make them big uns? If you didnt thats a good way of getting extra points. Also for your black orcs, you should try give them a banner (from the main rulebook, the terror one is good for them.) And if you make your boyz big uns, then you should give them the swiftness banner. 5x4 for the two orc units and make the gobbos hordes.
You should put your two spider rider units together, because two units of 10 will get smashed real easy.

Deffinently get more orc boyz, 20 is good but the best. I dont use any of the warmachines, but Im pretty sure their all good.

I'm actually playing dwarfs for my first game! But i'll take your advice into consideration and look into the other common magical items. It sucks how few unique items orc have.

I think i'll go with two hordes of 40 night goblin spearmen, each with a lvl two.

I can make my orcs bigguns, i didn't because i wasn't sure it was worth it, but if i combine the gobblin units i should save some money on musicians enough to cover the costs. I can easily upgrade whatever, my opponents said they'll just match whatever i can get to. However, im scared of putting too much into magic items and banners and the like incase they just totally out number me. I also have a ork warboss on a boar. If i pick up a unit of boar boys and put the warboss in there will it be effective ?

Hells yeah it will. However you can only have one unit of big uns per army (unless you have Gorbad Ironclaw, if your going to get boar boyz, get him too.) So if your getting boar boyz but no Gorbad, then get 10 of them and make them big uns.

Well after thinking about it 1.5k isn't enough orc for me. After a new acquistion I've come up with a new list at 2k points. I've taken what you've said into consideration and put the gobbos into a horde, added some more orcs w/ add hand weapons and a unit of savage orc biguns on boars with one of my warbosses as a hammer unit. plus some warmachines.

thats looking ten times better. How many savage orc boyz do you have?

I only have the 5 savage orc boar boyz, just picked em up today, should i give them Extra Hand Weapons or shield and spear?

Shield and Spear deffinently. Your next unit should deffinently be 5 more.
