I am about 99.999% sure I am right here... but it was argued that I can't have a painboy on a bike with my nob bikerz... i think there were zero grounds for this

codex reads "the entire mob may be upgraded to: nob bikers +25 per model"

the stikk bombs are worded the same way which is why i pointed out you'd have to be able to buy stikbombs as if not everybody has them its liek nobody has them

does not mention bike or stikk bombs and wording is entire mob vs the other entries which do say "the nob may"

i know it sounds dumb... and normally I can see how people read a rule wrong in this case I think he just thought toughness 4(5) 4+ saves and 5+ inv saves and fnp was to tough... but to be fair they are expensive as hell for the privilege

so any argument against him getting it or am i dealing with TFG

Yes, you can have a painboy on a bike.... it's pretty common to have that in a Nob biker squad.

Note that all other upgrades say "a nob may". While a painboy is not a nob, he still is part of the mob.

thansk, like i said was very confident sayign yes he could but a irking annoyance from my wallet that I cut up a painboy for a bike (and even has my grot orderly on a little triicycle having to pedal to keep up the poor little guy) and that I might have wasted the money but the rules looked in my favor thanks again

It is perfectly legal to have a painboy on a bike, for the reasons mentioned above.

Also, if people want to complain about biker nobs, remind them that the cost pushes into and can even break the avg. cost per model of Paldin squads, depending on the size. (which are 2+/5++ and can get FNP)

You can easily build one from the bits in a nobz box. Use the saw-arm from that box, have is other hand holding the bike handle and convert the slugga back-pack from the nobz box into an 'urty syringe backback. I added the metal pain boyz' head to the biker model, but if you're low on cash you could just use any head with a mask (bikers/burnaz/kommandoz) and build that little head thingy with greenstuff.

I've been ising the saw bit in the nobz box for buzz saw on my kopta/rokkit buggies (thanks to magnets thy work as both)

I just chopped up a ork painboy model the finecast variety and a little greenstuff to fill the cracks on the repositioning. works pretty well... though urty syringe in the air other arm on the handlebars (for saftey)

pretty much the same thing i did with my warboss on a bike... AoBR warboss, chopped up, filled in and BAM warboss on a bvike not as cool as the forgeworld one but the warboss off ebay was $1 and free shipping since I bought multiple models from that store

I did the same for my biker-warboss, but on a looted and orkyfied chaos bike

I actually have a spare AoBR boss... that sounds good... though actually thinkign about it... maybe I'll loot an eldar bike or look for a large bike than a small ork bike to loot

i actually have 3 based AoBR boxes with various convertions and probably at least 5 unused unbase dunput together ones... i usually will just buy em with bits orders that do free shippign since they are like a dollar or 3
