How many points of Skaven are in Isle of Blood? I'm looking to start playing fantasy again and was going to give Skaven a try (previous edition I played dwarfs). A local store has a league where we'll start out at 600 points and eventually work to 2000.

You can hit 800 if you kit out everything. The Special & Core choices are almost 500 points. The Warlord & an upgraded Engineer could have some pretty fancy toys with the remaining points.

20 Clan Rats w/ Shield + WFT = 165

20 Clan Rats w/ Spear/Shield + PWM = 160

2 Rat Ogres + Master Moulder w/ Shock Prod = 138

Warlock Engineer (Lvl 2) w/ Condensor = 120

Warlord with heavy armour, halberd and Talisman of Preservation = 138 points

Total: 721 points.

You can add another 30 points of gear to the warlock (Foul Pendant for a 5++ is a good option), and another 55 points to the Warlord.

Shouldn't have a problem hitting 800, even if some of the choices aren't the most optimal. You could also upgrade one of the Rat Ogres to a Master-bred to boost your points also, which is probably better than the Master Moulder.
