I don't know. What I do know is Beastmen are long overdue for a wave. Give us some Finecast Lords and Shamans already GW. 1 finecast model for the entire army, please.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

Not to mention High Elves. Only a single finecast, and one that is quite rarely used (as far as I have seen.)

I hope that Chosen come out next, as an all metal unit is really awkward.

I personally couldn't care less about Tickles, i'm never going to use him given his reputation.

I'm more concerned about my Great Eagles; currently £15.50 a pop for an ugly metal model that probably won't be supported by the flimsy flying stand it comes with, I fully expect the finecast version to become £18 (being a cheaper material and all) in the exact same dated pose.

Whoopee...

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I hope that the next wave includes some high elves, perhaps some beastmen. (I'm pretty sure those are the armies with the least finecast.)

Being on backorder usually means that they are recast in metal. Happened so with my order on DE Black Guard.
Finecast recast usually get a new number (and price) with the older number discontinued.

That said, GW treats their new Finecast releases as a big secret, not even published in WD.

To be fair, High Elves already have the vast majority of models in plastic. Beastmen, Dark Elves and Wood Elves are the ones that REALLY need some finecast love.
