This is a small tournement at my local store , here are the rules No 2+ amour saves, No amour over 33, and 1 hq 1 troops choice base.
Here is my list:
Company command squad-2xplasma guns, master of the ordance, melta bombs=115p

Not bad... but givin the limitations I could see an all infantry army doing well...

CCS - 150pts
Camo Cloaks, 2x Plasma Guns, 1 AC, MoO, Plasma Pistol

Vet - 170pts
3x Plasma guns, AC, Sentries, Plasma Pistol, krak grenades

Vet - 180pts
3x plasma guns, AC, Harker

That is just a vet themed one. You of course could drop the equipment and have like 3 Vet plasma squads and a CCS plasma squad for under 500pts.

Yeah well i like the fact of having 3xlarge blasts a turn that are strenght 9+ and ap2 so it is fun list and the fact ive also got 5 plasma guns is fun too but yeah i get where your coming from!
