Hello fellow dakkaers. I've been more and more drawn to the modeling/painting side of the hobby since it would be better for me economically and since I don't really like gaming that much..

So post any single miniatures that I should put on my paint list, it doesn't have to be one single miniature since some kits have 2 or so. But no full units unless it's maybe once of those big units in WHFB like Mournfang cavalry or Sepulchral stalkers, also big monsters like the A-bomb and such are appreciated.

For 40k: I've always been partial to tanks, so any of the IG tanks like the LRBT, Chimera, or Hellhound would be good. Also, the Manticore/Deathstrike is an excellent kit.

Also, if you are not limiting yourself to GW models, the Dreadnought models (ships, not walkers!) that Spartan Games makes for both Firestorm Armada and Dystopian Wars are awsome looking and excellently detailed models.

Usually I wouldnt go with what other people say you should paint. As some may be downright horrible, in your opinion.

Id say browse different websites and if something grabs your eye then you have a model to paint

The Tyranid trygon seems like a fun model to paint. I would do one myself, but I don't run them, so it seems pointless at the moment.
