My painting could be described, in the most generous terms as basic. However i've painted 2 Sisters of Battle I actually quite like. I thought I'd see what C & C you guys could give

Just to add, the well painted Sisters in the background aren't my work unfortunately

They look really nice! I think all the white and skin tone could use a wash and a highlight.

I wish people would host their images in the Dakka Dakka Gallery instead of on some third party service that is blocked to the majority of people at work...

That being the case, I'll have to wait to comment until I get home.

Sorry I was unaware it would be an issue. I'll remember the next time. Apologies for any inconvenience.

No worries, most places of buisness block all of the big picture sharing sites.

The Dakka galleries are awsome to use, no limit to the amount you can upload either.

Basic, yes. But that's good blocking and coloring. A simple wash could do a lot. I prefer Devlan mud (but you could water down some black paint). A highlight could also help a lot.

Black, red and white are all tricky colors to paint, and they happen to be the colors of the Sisters, and you did great with that. Kudos.

Im waiting on an order at the moment and I've ordered a skin wash and Devlan mud. The only wash I own is badab black so I'm in desperate need of them. When they get here (i've been waiting 2 weeks already ) I'll implement your suggestion. Thanks.
