this is what i have so far. im at 1520 pts so far.


Reclusiarch – terminator armour – 30 = 160
Librarian – terminator armour and storm shield = 145
Sanguinary priest – terminator armor = 85
Brother corbulo – 105
Terminator assault squad – storm shield x 2 = 210
Terminator assault squad x 7 – 3 x stormshield and thunder hammer = 295
Land raider crusader – multimelta = 260
Land raider crusader – multimelta = 260

not sure what powers to run with the libby and what troops to take any advice?

What i see most people do is take 2 5 man squads of assault marines and if you remove their backpacks you can buy land raiders for them for 50 points less. Now this can be a pain because your termies cannot start in the raiders, but remember your assault marines dont have to either. So you can deploy your termies near the raiders and hop in turn 1 and speed off. And it saves your 100 points.

Other than that you can take scouts with camo cloaks or tac marines. Assault marines are the best option IMO, and besides, you are Blood Angels after all.

Its 35 pts if you remove there packs. not 50 If I remember correctly. my main idea is to have razorbacks with assault troops without packs that way I can upgrade to las gun and twin linked plasma for free. that is what im thinking about doing but not sure. also should I add a third priest to a razorback with an assault squad so they can last longer on an obj.

This list seems like a lot of fun. Is it actually any good in a competitive environment compared to Mech/DoA assault setups?

I have a build for both mech and DOA and so far mech is the only one that seems to have any bit of competitive edge, I love DOA but it just doesn't win games as much. when I finish putting all of my pieces together Id like to have multiple builds to run so it doesn't get old, but id also like to have a build to take to competitions and have some chance of winning.

what do you have the ASM kitted out with?

for 15 pts you could add a meltagun and a flamer to the razorback squads.

just bolt pistol and chain sword. i was thinking that not to sure. this is were it always gets tricky for me. should i do dozer blades instead or heavy armor somewhere? not sure what will give me the most bang for my buck. also what powers do you recommend for the Libby. thought about lance and fear but last time I tried fearing something was a deamon army and that didnt go well. didnt know they were fearless. 1st time playing against them, any ways thats my concerns for now.

I would give him shield for sure because of all the armour your taking and Unleash Rage for the re-rolls every turn, which would allow you to drop the reclusiarch as he only does that on the turn they charge.

or swap him with a normal termi with lightning claws from the other squad that way both squads will benefit from rerolls, and fill no pain.
