Heya!
Not only is there a great shop that offers 25%-35% discounts in the macomb area for all 40k figures (30 dollar leman russes anyone?), but they're offering to let us use their back room for free, long as we'd like, anytime we'd like until 9 for Warhammer 40k gaming. We'd just have to provide board and scenery and the like, though he said they have a few five by eights laying around. Regardless, Im sick of posting up flyers so Im posting on this forum Anyone in the Wayne County/Oakland COunty/Macomb county area interested? We're aiming for just regular skirmishes, campaigns, and apocalypse games. Okay, scratch that, we're going to play all the games
Just reply to this threat or email me at Warhammer40kMacomb@hotmail.com (Use that one now since the last time I posted my real one I only got spam X_X)

Okay! So update.
Today, I went and talked to the owner. He's providing us GW buildings at cost, as well as whatever else we need, which is great. (IE, 4 manufactorums for like 45 bucks). I took a look upstairs, theres a support beam thats padded, but unless we need to crawl on top of the table, we should be able to set anywhere from 2-4 tables down. Im going to be there sunday between 12 and 5 bolting down one or two of the tables to a frame, so if ANY of you have custom scenery or tables you would like to bring in to save me the work between that time, please, please, please let me know .
Monday, he's ascertaining whether or not he's a level 2 dealer (IE, we get free stuff to put on the board every month.). Whether or not he becomes one, Im ordering several imperial buildings that should be in by Friday. Maybe sooner.
If any of you have custom scenery you would be willing to share and setup, the earliest we can start playing is this week. Sign up sheet is now in the store at Van Dyke and Utica in Sterling Heights, and of course, messages to Warhammer40kMacomb@hotmail.com are great ways to contact me.

Alright so! Table is done, and it looks fantastic. While Ive yet to get more terrain for it, I bought up every bit of it they had in the hobby store (Sanctum, Battlescape, Landing Pad, and Manufactorum) along with shrubberies and trees and rocks and the like...board is 5x8, and playable, so long as you have woodland terrain (at the moment. I need to repaint the other mats that we stick to the board grey for urban/volcanic world and tan for desert).
That being said, some people are going to drop by, take a look, and game saturday, sometime after four o'clock, and at the least, we'll be using the 5x8, at the most, we can have three 4x4 tables.
As usual, anyone interested in signing up can send me an email or a PM! ^^ Especially if anyone wants to game sooner.
And errrr. *Cough* Kind of embarrassing, but for all my organization and collection, while Ive played Warhammer fantasy, never played a 40k game. If anyone wants to show me the ropes before then, Id be grateful

I'm from Wayne county and I'm interested, where is this place specifically?

I'd be interested in making the occassional game depending on where in Macomb it is (tends to be a hike from downriver) though I'm mainly a Pandemonium player...much more convienent and we already have a ton of club terrain. What's the address and name so we can check the place out though?
