So, I was thinking of starting a Warmachine army, and I was wondering what the different strengths of the different factions are. Going by looks, Khador is my favorite. What do they, and the other factions, specialize in?

You should also look at PP's forums under each factions forum list usually stickied at the top are beginner's guides to the faction. But Khador really likes to beat face with heavies.

Khador is full of sneaky trickery. On the face people see big, slow, beatstick units that are easy to hit but can really soak damage. Sure there are units like that, Man O' War variants and juggernaut-chassis warjacks, but they have a ton of ways to speed up their units and warjacks with just a bit of warcaster support. On top of that, they have great infantry that can be frustratingly difficult to hit.

This is very true. I have had a blast playing them in my FLGS journeyman league.
