For some reason, my firefox is labelling the PP forums as an attack site. Anyone else have this message?

I get it, too.

Forums went down before I started getting that message.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

They posted this on FB in regards to that question. "The forums are down while we perform maintenance. We'll announce when it's restored."

I'm getting it on Chrome, too.

Well, the forums were down this morning, then up, then later they were down due to this. Good times. *Shrug*

Front page says something is up, and that they are working with the idea of protecting customers, so likely some manne rof hack or attack thingy happening is my guess.

And stuff.

That's no bueno. I *just* got in my big packet of mercs in and have been putting together lists and combing the PP forums for tactics. Sad day.

I feel the same way. I miss my privateer press forums.

Though, best tactics come from play time on the board :p

I miss the My Little Pony Discussions...

Trojan virus thru the banner ads deal. The fun kind where it tells you you have a virus and tries to sell you fake anti virus software. My AVG and NoScript were throwing a fit about it the other night when I visited, and they've been down since.

Hope it can get back up -- love the PP official forums.

Really sucks as they make a slow night at work go by faster, and this is my third straight night without them to keep me entertained. These forums just aren't as good.

Banner ads are like the dirty syringes of the internet. Never know where they came from or what they have in them...


Their forum being down did make me realize how few sites discuss WM rules questions in detail. When I was Googling earlier for a rules query (Which is often faster than flipping through the damn book)--all the hits were PP forums.

One theory about this:

They allow one rules question per thread. I imagine that helps searches and
crawlers find the precise wording for a specific rule

About where I'm at anymore honestly. My interest in Warhammer has waned to the point I've not checked their subforums here in months. I tend to visit News, Dakka Discussions, here and Off Topic. Due to the WM talk here being slower it tends to get pushed down my forum priorities as well, with me checking the Mayhem forums first, followed by Focus And Fury, then PP's, then here. Will probably dig back into the 40k section again when the new Necron dex finally releases to check out the reactions to and discussions of it.

Well the only way these forums will get better is if more people stop by and check them out. While I agree these forums don't have a ton to offer for a hardcore privateer player, the only way they ever will is if people post topics and have interesting discussions about those topics.

Having a few issues with my menoth.. and i cant get to their forums for the tactics etc :/

What're your issues? Feel free to start a new thread; Dakka doesn't have the depth of community that the PP forums do, but a few of us might be able to give a hand.

Just an FYI--they appear to be back up and I'm getting no warnings.
