Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Its good for TN 40k. You will be about -5 hours away from my location, but I think there is a good crowd over there.

a place called galaxy games just opened in cookeville TN. Not sure if you have already heard about them. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Galaxy-Games/428188427253341 I would call ahead to see when the best time to show up is as they do not seem to always have players there.

I have been to several tournaments in Cookevile; I am not sure who still lives there Look at Galaxy Games.
If you don't mind traveling a bit for tournaments then southeast TN has some very competitive 40k if that's what you want.

galaxy games just died. I went by there this afternoon and its like the store was never there. I think the middle tn area is just going to have to start a club at someones home as brick and mortar stores just can't make the income to keep their doors open.

You're not too far from Mufreesburo, which has Grand Adventures, which has a GREAT 40k scene. I used to come down to Mufreesburo from Clarksville sometimes (and Clarksville has a good scene, if way too casual for my likes).
If nothing else, in a few months you'll be close to Stones River, which is one of the most fun GTs in the country.

If you are willing to drive a bit there are some good guys in Knoxville. I'd go to hobby town and talk to Jeremy. While he does do more warmahordes than 40k, he is trying to get a 40k group going once or twice a month outside of tournaments.
