Subject: Man in the Can - 35pts (almost all Jacks)

I have played with a 4 Jack variation of this with some lighter armored jacks, but the 7pts for an Ironclad or 6pts for a Lancer always seem a waste with Darius. All Jack has done very well at gameshop so far:
35pts
Captain E. Dominic Darius
Centurion
Hammersmith
Hammersmith
Thunderhead
Journeyman Warcaster
Tactics: In previous games the x2 Hammersmiths and DJ Thunderpants have been the MVPs. In this list I am looking at 18 being lowest armor = Darius and with Jr that can be boosted to 21. Fortify on Thunderpants = 21. Darius has to play up close and in the middle. Surrounded by high ARM and halfjacks to block charge lanes, Darius can Crane and repair his battlegroup as they slowly advance. Using terrain and playing the game of attrition generally means I can setup Thunderhead pulse to kill Solos and infantry while the Focus efficient Hammersmiths and Centurtion lay waste to any Jacks that threaten.
Pros: High health, ARM and repair. Focus efficient Jacks, Darius spells and abilities support movement and hit ability. Not worried about blast damage.
Cons: Slow, low Def, Jr is fragile in the group, Control Area forces Darius to be in the center of things.

That is why I love khador, Our jack caster is fast tough, and can boost his def to levels that make many normal warcasters envious.

not sure why you're posting the list: are you looking for feedback or something else?
feedback, looks fine as attrition, but very slow and not that exciting. I'd prefer ironclads to hammersmiths, for more maneuverability and accuracy, and to afford a 2-point thing (strangewayes, etc).

Sure you could do that. Or take 5 ironclads, and pick up some sword knights, which helps you out win infantry heavy lists.

Really? Your in the Army Lists section and you don't know why someone is posting a list??
Ironclads vs. Hammersmiths -
Speed hasn't been much of an issue with the 3" crane action as it essentially gives one 7" movement or an 11" run.
Neither have Reach
Accuarcy - Darius gives Boosted attack rolls to all Jacks in battlegroup
Strangeways is good, but I don't have a lot of luck with him.
